Three international architect duos hosted a week-long workshop where 27 countries were represented. The workshop culminates with an exhibition and architect talks.
In week 34, 47 participants from 27 countries met at Campus Holmen to take part in this year's Paraply School, an international project that originates from the environment around the Institute of Architecture and Culture's student office.
This year the workshop has the theme'DRÌFT' and is an invitation to delve into the complex exchange of ideas, cultures and materials overseas. The aim of the workshop is to address the transformation of the field of architecture into creative and resourceful practices through an exploration of design alchemy, creating 1:1 spatial interventions on the harbour front. Three international architects, Comte/Meuwly, Point Supreme and LLRRLLRR, have hosted the workshop and Jonathan Houser, Kim Lenschow, Anne Pind and Spacegirls gave lectures.
Paraply School culminates with a final exhibition and a series of architect talks, where everyone is welcome.
