At Architecture in Kalundborg, we explore how to shape towns, landscapes, buildings and materials so they become sustainable, attractive, functional and inclusive.

We use Kalundborg as a living lab. It is a small town and a global player all at once, and you’ll work closely with the local community, other programmes, industry and public authorities.

Kalundborg is also an international bio hub. At master’s level, you’ll work with industry and internationally recognised researchers on new bio-based materials and products.

What can you experience at Open House in Kalundborg?

Architecture in Kalundborg is spread across several buildings, all close to the station and the harbour. You can see our facilities and step right into the studios where our students work every day.

Meet our students

You can meet students and teachers from the bachelor’s programme in architecture. They’ll be happy to talk to you about student life, living in Kalundborg, projects and generally life at the programme.

Open to everyone

Whether you’re considering a bachelor’s or a master’s programme, you’re welcome at Open House. The in-person briefings are held in Danish and address the bachelor’s programmes, but you’re welcome to explore the campus on your own.

Please note that our bachelor’s programme in architecture is taught in Danish. To apply, you’ll need Danish at A level (the highest level in Danish upper secondary school).

If you are interested in the master’s programme of Spatial Ecologies, please attend the online info sessions.
