Royal Danish Academy research becomes more visible

We have now made it easier to get closer to the Royal Danish Academy’s researchers and their work.

Are you, for example, looking for a researcher specialising in sustainable construction, design, cultural heritage or the physical settings of people’s lives? Are you particularly interested in a specific field, looking to collaborate on a project or seeking an expert for a story? Then take a look at our individual researcher profiles.

Here, professors, associate professors, assistant professors, postdocs and PhD students present their current research in a clear and visual way, making it easy to gain an overview of each researcher’s expertise, areas of interest and ongoing projects.

At the same time, we have refreshed the website with a new homepage and a new research section.

Strengthened research

The researcher profiles provide an overview of the Academy’s research environments and make it easier to find relevant experts, establish new collaborations and follow researchers’ work. They also provide an accessible gateway to our research environments. For more detailed information about publications, projects and research data, the profiles link to the Pure research database.

Through our artistic and academic disciplines, we contribute new knowledge and innovative solutions that are rooted in practice and challenge established ways of thinking. Together with partners from professional practice and research environments in Denmark and internationally, we work on areas including the green transition in construction, the preservation of cultural heritage, and sustainable design and fashion.

Over the past few years, the Royal Danish Academy has significantly strengthened its research activities, with more researchers, more research projects and increased external research funding. Today, we have 125 members of staff employed in research positions and 50 PhD students enrolled in research programmes.
