Open House on campus: Explore workshops, exhibitions and studios
At our events on campus, we open our doors and invite you in at Holmen and Esplanaden in Copenhagen and at the Kalundborg campus. See for yourself the creative spaces and historic buildings where all our programmes are taught. You can also explore the facilities that will help you pursue your ambitions in architecture, design and conservation.
The Open House is primarily aimed at Danish students seeking bachelor’s degrees. However, even if you are applying for masters, you are welcome to attend to explore the campus and meet students.
Online Open House: In depth presentations about the master’s programmes
If you’d like to find out more about our master’s programmes in architecture and design, most of our events for you are online. At a series of online Open House events, each MA programme introduces itself. You can meet teachers and students and ask your questions live.
Experience the atmosphere of a creative and academic place to study
At the Royal Danish Academy, every student has their own desk in the studio. This creates a close-knit community where you work both in groups and on your own. You learn by making things with others who share your passion. In the workshops, you build models, test materials and make prototypes that you refine repeatedly.
Whether you’re interested in a bachelor’s or a master’s programme, it’s worth seeing where you’d study. At all our locations, we open our workshops and studios so you can get a feel for student life.
Open House takes place on a normal working day at the Academy. That means some students will be working at their desks, and some rooms will be in use for teaching. You’re welcome to walk around, but please be considerate. Most workshops are open, so you can look around and ask questions.
