Academy Talks Design is an open lecture series held on Tuesday evenings at 16:15 at Holmen. The programme brings leading international practitioners to Copenhagen to share perspectives, critical insights, and approaches to contemporary design. Open to all, the talks offer a rare opportunity to engage with a broad range of influential voices shaping design practice.
Emma Sandberg is a designer and sustainability ambassador committed to improving lives and the planet, framing design as a lever for systemic change in health and consumer technologies. Her practice combines user-centred hardware design with long-term material and lifecycle thinking, exploring how redesigning products and systems can support more circular and responsible models of production and use.
