Textile design proposal for Torpen Chapel in Humlebæk, including a textile intervention and a coffin cloth. Inspired by the site's history, soil tones and a former brick factory, the project introduces a subtle palette and tactile surfaces that enhance the chapel’s atmosphere of reflection, remembrance and contemplation.
The project reflects an ongoing exploration of colour and its influence on our perception of space. Through a site-specific and research-driven approach, colour, materiality, and surface are brought together to create a tactile and sensory environment.
