Attachements to sea

As a comment to global port developments, where cities become detached from the sea as industrial harbours grow, this thesis proposes a new ferry terminal, at Tórshavn port. The aim is to intertwine maritime and social interests, by activating life at the waterfront and to set a stage for ferry passengers to understand the social and environmental context of their host country.
