My tiles exist as a medium between culture and nature. Their rectangular format is inspired by the bricks that built the western civilization while the colours and imprint are inspired by artefacts from nature. I have used artefacts like stones and stinging nettle as direct tools in the clay to create tactile surfaces - each tile is handmade and unique.
