The inclusion of youth

The project is based in Ålesund, Norway. It explores the different dimensions and aspects of today’s generation of youth, how their behavioural and future choices to move away to another city affect within their community and society and how these choices will increase the population growth in the popular big cities where the urban population is getting younger, while the rural communities will have a lower population growth and the largest group of inhabitants becomes over 70 years. By creating and transforming an old storage house into a flexible space where it will evolve with the generation of youth and the citizens public needs. The rooms are defined by the rising activities through time and moving reconstructive elements contribute to the new rooms.
