‘A Stray House’ investigates the problems and opportunities of resettlement to Danish rural areas. Rural depopulation is leaving behind deserted traditional buildings. A lack of ideas, poor financing options, and urban centralization often leads to demolition. The project centres around an abandoned farm on the island of Als and seeks to elevate the architectural qualities these buildings possess.
