Creating Air

CREATING AIR is the final project of Production Design MA student Bogdan Stamatin.

It consists of a 15 minute video screen adaptation based on "Delirium for two" (1967) by absurd theatre playwriter Eugène Ionesco, entitled "Delirium for 222". It is a concept proposal that tries to visually match the principles of the absurd, by having 222 non-professionals act the lines of dialogue of the original play’s two characters, inside a computer generated universe.

The goal of the project is to use visual components in a way that enhances and brings new juice into the genre of the absurd theatre.
