The Royal Danish Academy's Graduation Exhibition opens

Meet the architects and designers of tomorrow in more than 250 visionary projects. On 19 June, the Royal Danish Academy opens its doors to this year’s Graduation Exhibition, featuring more than 250 projects that present the new generation of architects and designers. The exhibition offers a unique insight into the ideas and visions that are helping to shape tomorrow's architecture and design – and ultimately, the society of the future.

The Graduation Exhibition serves as a benchmark for the emerging talent pool, showing how the next generation addresses some of the most pressing challenges of our time. Among other themes, the projects revolve around climate change, pressure on natural resources and biodiversity, shifting social conditions, and a society undergoing rapid technological development.

At the Royal Danish Academy, graduates are trained with a special foundation in artistic and innovative working methods, where theory, practice, and technology merge. Throughout five years of study, the students have investigated, experimented, and developed their own professional positions – finding their individual expressions.

Many of the graduation projects have been created in close collaboration with both public and private stakeholders and developed in dialogue with other disciplines. The result is a diverse and inspiring exhibition that looks ahead and offers tangible proposals for how architecture and design can help shape a sustainable and innovative future.

About the exhibition 

The graduation projects are presented within the framework of the Royal Danish Academy's Master’s programmes, each having its own distinct professional profile. The projects are displayed either individually or in groups through visual materials, models, and prototypes, accompanied by short descriptions. Visitors can scan QR codes at each project to read more on kglakademi.dk – and take a business card home if they wish to get in touch with the graduates.
