Open House: Architecture, Design and Crafts

Are you interested in architecture and design? Did you know that you can also become an architect in Kalundborg? Do you dream of working with glass or ceramics? Are you curious about student life at the Academy?

We look forward to once again opening the doors to the Royal Danish Academy at Holmen on 29 January 2026.

At our Open House event, you can meet students and lecturers from the bachelor programmes in Architecture and Design, as well as from the artistic professional bachelor programme Crafts in Glass and Ceramics. They will be ready to talk to you about student life, teaching, how projects are developed, and what it’s like to be a student.

You can also visit our workshops and laboratories, where you can speak with instructors about how the workshops are integrated into the teaching. In addition, some of the studios will be open so you can get an insight into the study environment.

If you have questions about how to apply or whether this is the right education choice for you, you can talk to our student counsellors, who will be happy to answer your questions.
