In recent years, the Royal Danish Academy - Crafts in Glass and Ceramics has increased its focus on sustainability by exploring new ways of recycling materials, inventing alternative glazes, integrating unconventional materials, reducing the use of chemicals, etc.  

Discover cutting-edge sustainable practices at the Royal Danish Academy with a workshop tour and insights from a waste-material-based bachelor project. Here ECC2024 artists and writers showcase their innovative work. The session wraps up with a paneldiscussion where experts delve into the latest advancements and share ideas in sustainable craftsmanship.

Panelists include ceramicists Jenya Adamova (Bulgaria), Nicole Lehner (Switzerland), Arina Antonova (Germany), and curator Marthe Yung Mee Hansen (Norwegian Crafts).
