Join us for the exhibition House of ORBI during 3daysofdesign.

The exhibition centres on the association ORBI’s annual schools and its cross-disciplinary programme - developed in collaboration between Dinesen and the Royal Danish Academy - Institute of Architecture and Culture. The title House of ORBI is twofold: it refers to a specific farmhouse in Southern Jutland, currently under transformation into a place for residence and work, and to the gradual formation of an institutional ‘house’ — a condensation of ORBI’s manyfold and widespread activities and experiments into a shared practice.

The exhibition also marks the launch of Dinesen Reader, a new publication series. The first volume presents ORBI’s annual summer school and invites contributions from across disciplines rooted in Dinesen’s world of wood.

The exhibition opens the 19th of June with speaches and readings.

About ORBI
ORBI is an independent association, initiated as a collaboration between Dinesen and the Royal Danish Academy in 2019, with the ambition to create an experimental building collective around a disused farm near Vrå. Today, ORBI hosts seasonal schools where students and professionals work together across disciplines in an environment that supports both the concrete and the speculative.
