Academy Talks Design: Anthony Quinn

Academy Talks Design is an open lecture series that lets leading international practitioners share perspectives, critical insights, and approaches to contemporary design. Open to all, the talks offer a rare opportunity to engage with a broad range of influential voices shaping design practice.

Anthony Quinn is a designer, consultant, writer and educator based at Central Saint Martins, London, where he is the Leader of Ceramic Design. Trained in the art school tradition, his practice spans ceramic tableware, object design and internet-of-things technologies, all connected by a deep interest in how people interact with objects.

As an educator, he is a staunch advocate of messy, risky, visceral and transformative approaches to learning and teaching, leading a community of makers and thinkers across BA, MA and PhD levels. His work explores the creative space between making, thinking and human experience.
