3daysofdesign: Guided Tour: 'Here & Now'

Meet current furniture design students and gain insight into the process and inspiration behind projects displayed in the exhibition - Here & Now Harbourside - an Egyptian-Danish collaboration completed by all furniture design students.

The exhibition presents a curated, retrospective selection of seating designs by students from Furniture Design – Products, Materials and Context. Bringing together works from seven successive year groupscohorts, the exhibition reflects a long-term collaboration rooted in studies of ancient Egyptian furniture archetypes.

Through research, experimentation, and prototyping, the students reinterpret historical forms and construction principles into contemporary design expressions.
