Wavy wooden wardrobe next to bed and small table.

Storm Studio

Iværksættere
Nanna Storm, Sine Christine Steenberg Asmussen

Storm Studio introduces Forma, a modular wardrobe designed to transform storage into a spatial experience.

With its sculptural curved form, it extends softly into the room, creating a dynamic yet calming atmosphere that relates both to architecture and the human body. Forma challenges the anonymous, short-lived wardrobes that dominate today’s homes, often chosen as compromises and just as quickly discarded as waste.

Built for longevity and circularity, the wardrobe is flexible in both height and function, and can transform from wardrobe to entrance bench to kitchen modules. Multiple units can flow together into a larger form that extends into the room, even functioning as a
room divider.

Forma is crafted from poplar plywood, a wood with a soft, wavy grain that adds depth to the surface. Treated with pigmented oil, it develops a warm golden tone that enhances its natural character. With Forma, we aim to elevate poplar’s status, demonstrating that
it can be a conscious, aesthetic choice where sustainability and beauty coexist.
