Mycelium in furniture

Entrepreneur
Tobias Richardt Christensen

Mycelium in Furniture explores the potential of mycelium as a sustainable material for the furniture industry.

Building on a thesis project that resulted in a chair with a mycelium-upholstered seat, the project investigates how the material can be further developed and integrated into furniture design. The aim is to demonstrate mycelium’s potential as an alternative to conventional materials and encourage the furniture industry to explore more sustainable approaches to production.
