Flash-Forward

Flash forward was a 3-week workshop in storyword building, interaction and speculative design, and an artistic development projected initiated and conducted by Jakob Ion Wille, associate professor, PhD, and Arthur M Steijn, teaching associate professor, designer and artist, for and with a group of master students from graphic communication design in October 2020.

In the workshop students created images and installations for possible future worlds in the light of present problems such as climate change, democratic crisis, sustainability, data control etc. The installations were created through the use of story world and scenario design methods.
