Graduation 2021: SOLUTIONS
At the Academy's annual graduation, the new generation of architects and designers are showing visionary projects that are especially taking hold of the global climate crisis. The projects are presented in both a physical and a digital exhibition entitled "SOLUTIONS". Both exhibitions open on Tuesday 22 June at 10.00.
NB! Due to the Covid-19 situation, no opening event will be held this year.
This year's graduation exhibition SOLUTIONS shows convincing suggestions on how we can think new in the future in relation to sustainability - and especially pervasive, is the dedicated willingness to point the way to future climate challenges, as well as the commitment to social and welfare agendas.
Green solutions and self-sufficient ecosystems
The exhibition offers 200 graduation projects - and they go far and wide.
One candidate has developed a design for the upcoming light rail between Nørrebro and Gladsaxe in Copenhagen, which creates culture-bearing experiences that make the green mode of transport more attractive to users.
Another candidate looks further into the future and examines what we do when the oceans in the future become more filled with plastic than with fish. Maybe we should use mealworms to transform the plastics in the oceans into a new natural and export resource based on buildings that rise as self-sufficient ecosystems on obsolete drilling platforms?
Physical and digital exhibition
As something completely new, the Academy presents both a physical exhibition on campus on Holmen and a digital one, both of which open on 22 June at 10.00.
The physical exhibition 'SOLUTIONS' is open from 22 June - 2 July and again from 2 August - 20 August. Daily from 10-17. Danneskiold-Samsøes Allé 51, 1435 K.
The digital exhibition 'SOLUTIONS' opens on 22 June and can be seen from this site.
