Chair of the Advisory Panel – Architecture, Lars Jensen, is the City Architect of Copenhagen, where he advises the city’s politicians and administrations on architecture and urban development.
Before his appointment in September 2024, Lars Jensen spent a number of years as head of SLETH’s Copenhagen office. For 15 years, he led the advisory team behind the Nordhavn urban development project for By & Havn. In parallel, he has advised a wide range of public and private clients – including the City of Copenhagen – and has worked on projects throughout Denmark as well as internationally, including in Sweden, Norway, France, and Australia.
He is appointed as a professional judge in the Danish Association of Architects and has participated in the evaluation of several major architectural competitions. In addition, he serves as an external examiner at the schools of architecture and at the University of Copenhagen, where he has also taught for several years.
Lars Jensen graduated from the Aarhus School of Architecture with a Master of Architecture in 2001.
