About research and artistic development in Design

The goal of the Royal Danish Academy - Design is to create a national centre for design-based development through education, research, artistic development and professional collaboration.

Our mission is to produce graduates and knowledge to shape our future, society and culture, resulting from our unique link between research, practice and artistic development. As part of an artistic and professionally oriented academy, we aim to provide research and the production of artistic knowledge at a high international level in close contact with the industry and the professions, for which we educate our students.
