Activities

MEANING & MEASURE IN ARCHITECTURE contributes to the ambition of the Institute of Architecture and Culture to further develop and contemporise the concept of building culture.

The cluster participants are engaged in a range of research projects that overlap with the cluster’s field of interest and establish a shared platform for discussion.

We regularly organise academic events that explore the relationship between meaning and measure in architecture.

In spring 2021, the cluster serves as thematic editor of the first issue of the Institute of Architecture and Culture’s online journal, Magasin for Bygningskunst og Kultur. The theme of the inaugural issue is On Taking Measure, and the cluster contributes a series of articles. The journal is launched on 10 March 2021.
