Strategic Partnerships
Cluster for Futuring Danish Design has initiated a strategic partnership with Danish Design Center about investigating and documenting design-based approaches to the development of future scenarios for welfare development and sustainable change.
Theoretically this project is anchored within the fields of speculative design, including critical design and design fiction, and new methodologies in the intersection between design thinking and scenario planning. The project documents and participates in ongoing projects at DDC. Further teaching-based research and artistic development projects have been launched – see Flash Forward.
From January 2021 a new teaching based project Sharing Futures involves graduate students from Institute for Visual Design in the developing of possible future scenarios. Selected result from the collaboration will be exhibited at the Design Museum Denmark’s ‘Future of Design’-exhibition, opening primo 2022. More info about the collaboration will be posed late.
