Residence and Registration Requirements

Non-EU/EEA/Swiss Citizens
You must obtain a Danish residence permit for the duration of your Master’s. Once admitted and your tuition is paid, the Royal Danish Academy will assist with the application. Processing may take up to three months.

Nordic Citizens
Citizens of Denmark, Norway, Sweden, and Iceland do not need a visa, residence, or work permit.

EU/EEA and Swiss Citizens
If staying in Denmark for more than three months, you must apply for a registration certificate within three months of arrival.
