Urbanism & Societal Change works with collaborators both within Denmark and internationally, drawing on a diverse network of practitioners, experts, researchers, institutions, NGOs, and agencies. These collaborators are either ongoing partners or engaged specifically in response to the unique challenges of each semester's theme.

Internationally, the programme maintains a network of academics and practitioners at a range of institutions, including ETH Zürich and EPFL in Switzerland; TU Delft/Berlage Institute in the Netherlands; AHO in Norway; KTH in Sweden; the Architectural Association in London, UK; Hong Kong University; and Harvard University, Cornell University, and Columbia University in the US.

Locally, Urbanism & Societal Change and other programmes within the Institute of Architecture, Urbanism & Landscape collaborate frequently with the Municipality of Copenhagen. This partnership provides students with in-depth insights into the agendas and strategies of one of Denmark’s leading urban actors and largest clients in architecture.

Within the Institute and the Academy, Urbanism & Societal Change takes full advantage of a wide range of expertise from its researchers and practitioners, whose knowledge and skills are instrumental in supporting the development of student proposals.
