Offer of Study Place and Standby
Offer of Study Place and Standby
Late July you will receive a message on MitAkademi if we offer you a study place. If offered admission, you must accept or decline the offer within a short deadline. If we do not offer you a study place, you will receive a rejection message from den Koordinerede Tilmelding (KOT) or an offer from another Danish higher educational programme.
Annually one applicant will be offered a standby place. Standby is sort of a short waiting list if vacancies occur.
In 2025 we aim at offring 16 study places and 1 standby place.

Students with special needs
As a student enrolled in a full degree programme at the Royal Danish Academy you can apply for special educational support (SPS) if you suffer from a documented impairment and require special support in order to undertake your study. The support will be based on your individual needs and can be aids or different kinds of personal support. Sps is not financial support or treatment.
You must be a Danish citizen, be an EU or EEA citizen, or have the same status as a Danish citizen.
The support is granted by The Danish National Agency for Education and Quality. Read about SPS here (in Danish only).
You can apply for the support through the sps counsellor at the Academy Katrine Trolle, ktro@kglakademi.dk, after you have been enrolled.
When applying for SPS you must document your impairment, and you will have to sign a consent. Feel free to contact the SPS counsellor to hear more about your possibilities.
