The Sunrise Sanctuary aims at evoking engagement with nature, especially the sun, through architectural languages. In the form of an ode to the sun, the project consists of five stations on the landscape: an entrance piece, an enclosed meditation room, a shelter space, an open-air theatre and a balcony, for the experience of the sunrise on the mound at northern Kastrup Strandpark in Copenhagen.
