The project explores how the planned large-scale infrastructural project Missing Link 12, connecting the main east-west arterials in Nairobi through the informal settlement of Kibera, can be reprogrammed to better fit the context and the needs of local residents. Working with productive public spaces, flooding prevention and increased mobility.

The new intersection with the paved Ali Jaden rd. It becomes a key transport space, connecting to Kibera town centre and Nairobi central business district in 2 directions.
An alternative strategy for the Missing Link 12 road.
This project started in an investigation of the large-scale infrastructure development in Nairobi, Kenya today. how these projects are changing the city at a tremendous speed but are being realized without regard to inhabitants or physical context and worsening the mobility for already vulnerable citizens.
