‘Earth Bound, It is’ presents a new perspective in contextualizing what is perceived. The object challenges the understanding that we expect, and the viewer is invited to be met by the object’s own materiality.
The project emphasizes the tactility of objects, as the entire expression in the installation depends upon the unpredictability of the material in the shaping process. The project is an experiment on exploring other ways of perceiving objects and make a space to create an aesthetic experience happen.
The object defines itself, hence, it is.
