Master’s Programme

Master in Conservation

The master programme is the same for all students who are offered joint classes

Short about Master in Conservation

The Royal Danish Academy runs a single Master’s degree programme, which is common to all students. The programme consists of joint teaching and subject-specific teaching in the form of seminars.

The Royal Danish Academy’s Master’s degree programme in Conservatin builds upon the student’s undergraduate education within the areas of active and preventive conservation, restoration, history of the subject, relevant neighbouring humanities and natural sciences, and relevant arts and crafts. That means that, in selected areas, the graduate acquires a knowledge, which is based on the highest level of international research in the conservator profession.
