Architecture & Landscape educates architects who see coherence and connectedness as the absolutely central perspective on the great challenges of the times.
We are particularly interested in the connection between scales and time as a spatial and material process. The students' reflections on the geological, biological, social, ethical and aesthetic make a strong impression on the programme, just as ongoing investigations into how the artificial and the technological drive architectural development also characterize the studies.
Biodiversity crisis, climate catastrophe and problems of power cannot be solved by simply thinking in existing categories and systems, but call for radical, new ways of thinking that can embrace the complex challenges that the Anthropocene age presents us with.
