Short about Architecture and Landscape

In the Architecture and Landscape Master’s programme, we educate architects with a particular understanding of the interplay between the natural environment and the built form. Both architecture and landscapes emerge at the intersection of climate, geology, biology and cultural practices, and graduates of the programme gain the knowledge and skills to navigate this complexity.

The development of artistic methods, together with reflections on aesthetics as a decisive feature of the green transition, forms a core element of the programme. We regard analytical work, mapping and a solid theoretical foundation as essential components, which are interwoven in the architectural and artistic development of studio projects. Fieldwork, critical perspectives and philosophical grounding are seen as positions that continuously inform one another and play a significant role in studies within Architecture and Landscape.
