Research and collaboration

Throughout the course, collaboration with practice and research is intertwined with all the modules and activities.  

We have a close collaboration with activities during our modules with the Centre for Material Studies (CEMAS) and their research at our institute.

Professor Emanuele Naboni, Professor of Architectural Regenerative Technology, engages yearly with our program during a series of workshops and seminars.

The programme has close collaboration with the Chair for Biohybrid Architecture which yearly informs the students with research approaches and expertise in the subject.

Practitioners are continuously involved in reviews and tutorials, and the programs has yearly interactions and visits to practice also during our international fieldwork. Locally, our permanent collaboration includes Danish Technical Institute (DTU), 3XN, BIG and COBE amongst others.

During the years, the program has established a large international network of collaborators, including NASA, UCL The Bartlett, UNESCO, Cold Climate Housing Research Centre in Alaska, National Research Institute of the Amazon, University Pelita Harapan in Indonesia, Nanjing Southeast University in China, MNTI University in Jaipur, Sydney Technical University in Australia, VELUX, SCI-ARK Los Angeles, MIT USA to name a few.
