The Royal Danish Academy at 3daysofdesign
When the big design festival takes place from June 18th to 20th, the Royal Danish Academy will be strongly represented.
At the Royal Danish Academy, there will be two exhibitions showcasing the work of students from the Academy. Starting Thursday, June 19th, the graduation exhibition, where the newest architecture and design talents display the skills, they have developed during their studies, will open.

At the Royal Danish Academy's library, there will also be an exhibition featuring design students from the programmes 'Furniture Design - Products, Materials and Contexts', 'Crafts in Glass and Ceramics', and the Royal Danish Academy's Startup Hub, each relating to the world in their own way.

Along the waterfront the pavilion 'Poetic Daylight' will be open to all interested visitors throughout all three days. Inside the pavilion, guests can experience the sensory, aesthetic, and poetic potential of daylight, unfolded in a series of rooms. The pavilion will remain open to visitors on all three days.

The Academy is a hub for 3daysofdesign
Not only can you experience exhibitions at the Royal Danish Academy, but the place also serves as a district meeting point for the entire Holmen area. In the café, you can learn about the festival, read a festival newspaper, and enjoy the surroundings.
3daysofdesign is a major design festival, and last year 400 brands exhibited at the festival with over 45,000 visitors attending in various design districts across Copenhagen.
Mathilde Aggebo, Dean of Design at the Royal Danish Academy, is pleased with the many activities happening at the academy and to be part of such a large contemporary design festival.
'We are proud of – and pleased – that the Royal Danish Academy has become such an integral part of 3daysofdesign. It gives industry visitors direct access to emerging design talent and valuable insight into the next generation of designers, while providing our students with unique opportunities to build strong national and international networks,' she says.
All events are free to attend.
