Colectivo C733

The Royal Danish Academy and the Obel Foundation invite attendees to a Laureate Lecture with this year’s winner of the Obel Award, Colectivo C733. 

Based in Mexico, Colectivo C733  - Gabriela Carrillo, Carlos Facio,  José Amozurrutia, Eric Valdez and Israel Espinis - is a self-initiated group of architects that formed in response to an ambitious national effort to revitalise vulnerable urban and rural areas.

Colectivo C733 exemplifies the power of collective action and collaborative design to rapidly respond to urgent urban and rural needs. Their ability to transform communities through thoughtful, resource-efficient, and dignified architectural interventions is a blueprint for future public works projects worldwide.
