Description

The project visualises a need and wishes of disabled persons whose voice can be difficult to be heard both in real (material) space and virtual (immaterial) space. Utilising a custom-made text mining tool, the project taps into opinions posted in blogs and web forums. The study, at first, uncovers large amount of user statements in virtual space; and then organises them into a structure that follows accessibility requirements of the Danish building regulations BR18.

The processed data sets, through representing the voice of disabled people in quantity, explore potential scenarios for future building regulations for better inclusion through providing guidance for some of the most common building situations encountered by disabled people.
