FABRICATE 2024 - Creating Resourceful Futures
The Royal Danish Academy is pleased to bid welcome to the FABRICATE 2024 conference, led by Professor Mette Ramsgaard Thomsen and Professor Phil Ayres, both from the Royal Danish Academy - CITA. This year, the conference focuses on the need for a new sustainable design agenda.
Starting from manufacturing - fabrication - FABRICATE 2024 asks how a rethinking of architecture's methods, technology and construction can create a new societal position for the built environment.
Across a full two-day programme with four international transdisciplinary keynotes and 16 cutting-edge project presentations from practice and research, FABRICATE 2024 explores how architecture can be rethought through resource consciousness, and what new fundamental questions this poses for architecture?
