The project is a strategy for Danish subsidized housing in which the inhabitants are given more agency and freedom to create a home. It is put to use on a small plot in Copenhagen and should be understood as a critique of the architecture commonly found in subsidized housing, which disguised in ideas of equality, oftens takes the form of a functionalist architecture bias to the majority.
