Global fish stocks are at risk from industrial fishing and climate change; coastal states like the Faroe Islands need new agriculture solutions. This project speculates cell-cultured fish production in Tórshavn. Bioreactors and 3D printers produce fish meat, reducing land/water usage and the need to slaughter fish. A curated public circulation presents social spaces within an industrial complex.

The introduction of cell-cultured fish production in Tórshavn to adapt the Faroese fishing industry due to climate change
A series of circulation paths, stairs, and ramps that move the public vertically through the building's narrative spaces
Curated spaces that reveal cellular agriculture sources, cell-cultured fish production, and culinary enjoyment
A curated public circulation weaves through the industrial production and research complex
Building section: The atrium acts as a central circulation space, as well as emphasizing the sourcing of fish and plant cells
The shift from traditional fish processing to cell-cultured fish production will require changes in marine activity
