The project seeks to renovate Zunshi Pavilion into a campus activity center with performance, dining and leisure functions. I hope to design a new pavilion next to the old building to accommodate the needs of modern campus life while achieving sustainable inheritance. Through the integration of local design language with contemporary context, renovate and expand the original site and help the abandoned site revive new vitality functionally and culturally.

Model 1:50, Zunshi Pavilion

Based on my study background, I have always been interested in Suzhou's architectural culture. As for spatial design, local history is often the core of a project. Naturally, this project is located in Suzhou,  hoping to bring the Suzhou architectural method and life concept of "building into nature" into the spatial design. At the same time, the re-explanation from my design practice helps the traditional culture to radiate new meaning.
