Exhibition: Croquis drawing

September's exhibition at the KADK Library is a series of croquis drawings produced by KADK students during the academic year 2014-2015.

Helle Mie Hellesen taught the croquis classes and set up the exhibition. She writes:

"Croquis means drawing in a limited period of time. A fast-drawn sketch.

Using the human body as a model, it allows us to see proportions, scalas, construction, mobility and tactility within a limited framework. 

Through exercises and the adaption of various drawing techniques, we train the ability to optimise the sketching process with individual stylistic expressions.

Croquis means communication between eyes and hand."
