Afgang 2022: New Design & Architecture

Come and see 230 new architects and designers' contributions to the graduation exhibition NEW DESIGN & ARCHITECTURE.

Official exhibition opening on 24 June at 16, where everyone is welcome. How can we show a radical new direction for fashion based on an English nature protest movement from the 1920s? How can we create new Danish furniture art using new dogma rules? How can we create climate-friendly P2X systems as green landmarks for Denmark? And get an offer for a cheaper and more environmentally friendly alternative to Lynetteholmen that stimulates biodiversity in the sea?

The new architects and designers give concrete input to a wide range of agendas, all of which share the goal of inspiring a more sustainable future, which is better to live in. The graduation projects are based on a unique knowledge base from practice, science and art. They are the result of years of theoretical and experimental preparation.

A wide range of projects
This year's graduation exhibition shows 230 graduation projects that cover a wide range of subjects. One candidate has experimented with materials and given himself the challenge of having to create 6 pieces of furniture in 6 materials over just 6 weeks.

Another graduate has been working to find new avenues for the fashion industry. Her collection makes use of vintage clothing and can be adjusted to different sizes, giving the clothes a longer lifespan.

A third candidate has worked with a cheaper and more environmentally friendly alternative to Lynetteholmen, based on interdisciplinary knowledge from i.a. biology and oceanography.
