Welcome page and choice of login
The first page of the application system is the welcome page.
To access the application system choose between three login options.
The language on the application form follows your browser settings and should appear in English if you apply from outside of Denmark. If the form does not appear in English please change your browser settings.
Most international applicants will opt for 'log in as a self-registered user'. We recommend that applicants with a Danish CPR number log in using MitID.
- 'Log in as self-registered user': Most international students would be required to choose this option
- 'Log in with MitID/NemID': Recommended option for applicants with a Danish CPR number. You may be required to change your NemID setting. Please see below
- 'Log in': If you are studying at a Danish higher education institution you are likely to be able to use this option by selecting your current institution from the list that appears on the next page. You would likely also have obtained MitID or NemID and we would therefore recommend that you opt for one of these options

Access application form
The application link on the admission website will take you to a personalized page in the application system where the MA has been selected for you. Your name and personal details will appear at the top of the page. To start the application simply select the tab 'Create application' and 'Proceed to creation of application'.
Nationality and residence permit
Parts of the application form are dependant on your citizenship. Therefore, initially you may be asked to state your citizenship.
Applicants with a dual EU citizenship must apply with their EU citizenship.
Non-EU/EEA citizens should tick the box if you have permanent Danish residency.
Data exchange
Data exchange
This feature is only relevant for (primarily Danish) students applying from a Danish higher education institution. It automatically transfers all educational data (exams and degrees) to your application.
The feature is optional and international students applying from abroad should simply skip this part. Instead you will manually upload your transcripts and degree certificates.
International students applying from a Danish institution on the list may of course use data exchange.
Upload documents
Upload documents
General requirements
The following file types are accepted: pdf, doc, docx, jpg, jpeg, mp3, mp4, mov, mpeg, png. Maximum file size is 10MB
Mandatory documents
Most questions on the application form will be accompanied by a mandatory addition of one or more attachments (look for the *). In order to be able to submit the application all required documents must be included. In the event that you do not believe an attachment is relevant for you to include, you should instead upload a document explaining your situation. Remember that you risk having your application rejected in case of missing documentation.
At the top of the tab 'Requirements and prerequisites' you will find two upload fields. One concerning completed degrees and one concerning ongoing programmes. Only one of the fields is required to be filled in. If you have previously been able to complete the data exchange, one of these fields will now be filled in.

Messages regarding your application will be accessible within the application system. They will not be sent to your email inbox.
When we send you a message in the application system you will be notified via e-mail. You will then need to login to the application system in order to read it.
You may be asked to provide further documentation or receive an admission letter. In both cases you will be given a short deadline for upload and acceptance. If you fail to comply with these deadlines, your application will be rejected.
We recommend to login to the application system regularly in order not to miss any important messages.
Confirm admission offer
Confirm admission offer
During April and no later than 1 May, you will receive the answer to your application. If you are offered admission you will be required to accept admission within a said deadline (approximately one week). If you do not accept admission, your study place will be offered to the next qualified candidate on the waiting list.
To confirm admission, log on to the application system and select your application. In the 'View status of application' tab you can choose to either accept or decline the admission offer.
Subsequently, the status of your application changes to 'Admitted' or 'Conditional admission (if you accept), or 'Not accepted offer' (if you decline).
