Bus

There are bus connections to Holmen with line 2A from Hovedbanegården. It also stops at Christianshavns Torv.

NB! Due to roadworks, bus line 2A towards Refshaleøen will not run along Prinsessegade from 5 August until the end of October 2024. Take bus line 2A all the way to Refshaleøen and then 2A back towards Tingbjerg to Operaen and Holmen.

Harbor bus

Take Movia's harbor buses 991 and 992, which sail right to the door every 20 minutes. Stop: The Opera.

Car

You can drive to the Royal Academy via Prinsessegade from Christianshavn or via Amager and Christmas Møllers Plads (follow the signs towards Holmen/Operaen).

NB! Due to roadworks, Prinsessegade will be closed to car traffic from Torvegade to Sankt Annæ Gade in the period 5 August and until the end of October 2024. Drive instead via Torvegade - Vermlandsgade - Kløvermarksvej - Forlandet - Refshalevej - Danneskiold-Samsøes Allé. See the parking options on the map next to it
