Dette afgangsprojekt finder sted ved Hoed Kalkværk på Djursland. Hoed Kalkværk står i dag overfor en uvis fremtid. Det er et af de sidste levn fra en stor kalkindustri på Djursland. Afgangsprojektet undersøger, hvordan stedet kan bevares i fremtiden ved at tilføje nye funktioner, som spiller sammen med bygningernes oprindelige funktioner. Stedet transformeres til en skole for murere, og knytter på den måde råmaterialet - kalken - og håndværket sammen.
