Maria Holmegaard Hansen's project creates a series of sensory stimulation cushions to help school children struggling with ADHD symptoms, like sitting still or paying attention, ease bodily unrest during lessons to help them focus. The different textures, surfaces, and filling materials encourage children to fidget with the cushions with their hands, feet, butts, heads, etc. without disturbing the rest of the class.
