This project originates from recalling the daily life of locals in my hometown Xinzheng and explores spatial solutions to expand the welfare system at a neighborhood scale in the context of Chinese demographic change. This prototype supports residents’ daily routines and develops dynamic family connections through a series of interventions and transformations into an existing neighborhood.
