This collection seeks to visualise Derrida’s ideas of deconstruction, challenging the notion that clothes have any inherent meaning. No single item of clothing can be understood independently but takes on meaning in relation to other clothes and the body.

If we think of clothes as the frame by which our body and identity are constructed then this collection seeks to demonstrate that our identity is never fixed but constantly takes on new meaning and associations.

The body is at once fitted into a sartorial structure whilst itself defining the structure.
